After Dataphyte’s Report, Ondo Govt restarts Work on Abandoned OSRC Project

Three months after the Dataphyte report detailing how the Ondo State Radiovision corporation (OSRC) was abandoned despite a N202.72 million Renovation project, the state government has restarted work on the OSRC building.

The report noted that despite the project intending to ensure “Complete Reroofing of the Complex, New Doors, New Aluminium Windows, Floor Tiling, Ceiling General Painting and Installation of AC”, works were abandoned by the government.

Dataphyte’s earlier report read in part;

“Although general painting was part of the contract award, the building did not look like it had received a fresh coat of paint and the air conditioners at the building looked old, showing signs of rust, although new ACs were part of the contract award”.
