Voting has ended in some polling centres across the country and results are beginning to trickle in nationwide.
Nigerians cast their votes across wards and polling units to elect a new president today.
The election is replete with complaints of the late arrival of polling units and materials, malfunctioning of BVAS, and some level of violence, among others.

A trend review by Dataphyte shows that the Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party, and All Progressive Congress’ Bola Ahmed Tinubu are slogging it out, sharing votes in several areas.
For instance, in the Afaha Polling Unit of Etoi in Akwa Ibom state, Labour Party’s Peter Obi recorded 15 votes, while All Progressives Congress’s Bola Ahmed Tinubu recorded 14 votes.
In Nnewi North of Anambra State, the Labour Party scored 300 votes while APC recorded zero vote. The PDP scored one vote.
In Maiha area of Adamawa State, PDP’s Atiku Abubakar recorded 186 votes, while the Labour party scored zero vote. APC’s Bola Ahmed Tinubu recorded 66 votes.
While Abubakar recorded 367 votes at Michika II Ward, Chasedowol polling unit in Adamawa State, Obi got 226 votes while Tinubu obtained 59 votes.
Abubakar got 12 votes at Ihitte Owa Ward, Alvan Staff Quarters in Owerri, Imo State, Obi got 76 votes while Tinubu had one vote.
At Ikwe Council Ward in Gwar East, Benue State, Tinubu got 173 votes, while Obi and Atiku polled 34 and 51 votes respectively.
At Olambe 1, Oke-Aro, Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State, Tinubu polled 113 votes while Obi got 49 votes. Atiku received nine votes.
At Ward 6, unit 14, Oshimili South Local Government Area in Delta State, Tinubu got three votes while Atiku got six votes. Obi polled 205 votes.
At polling stations 10 at Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Tinubu got zero vote, while Atiku obtained 10 votes. Obi amassed 80 votes.
At Unit 003, Civil Defence Gate Town Hall, Kwali, FCT, Tinubu got 80 votes; Atiku received 68 votes while Obi polled 102 votes.
At UBA Admiralty Way in Lagos, Tinubu got five votes; Atiku received one vote, while Obi polled 72 votes.
At Yello Duke by Palm Street Ward 12 in Cross River State, Tinubu polled 14 votes; Atiku got 23 votes, while Obi received `177 votes.
At polling unit 013 at Kaduna Government House, Tinubu got 40 votes; Atiku received 69 votes, while Obi polled 48 votes. NNPP got 11 votes.
