The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared winner of the presidential elections in Ondo and Kwara states.
In Kwara, Tinubu scored 263,572 votes to beat Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) who polled 136,909. Abubakar is trailed by the Labour Party’s Peter Obi who scored 31,186.
In Ondo, Tinubu won with 365,924 votes to beat PDP’s Abubakar who polled 115,463 votes and LP’s Obi who got 47,350 votes.
The APC candidate also won Jigawa State with 421,390 votes. He is trailed by Abubakar who polled 386,587 votes and Labour Party’s Obi, who got 1,889 votes and the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP)’s Kwankwaso, who scored 98,234.

However, Abubakar clinched victory in Gombe, Katsina and Yobe – three states won by the APC in 2019. In Gombe, Atiku got 319,123 votes to beat his closest rival, Bola Tinubu of the APC, who polled 146,977 votes. Peter Obi of the LP got 26,160 votes.
Also, Abubakar won Katsina with 489,045 votes to beat Tinubu of the APC who polled 482,283 votes and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) who obtained 69,385 votes, followed by Peter Obi of the Labour Party who polled 6,376 votes. Katsina is the home state of Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari
More so, Atiku won APC-led Yobe State with 198,567 votes to beat Tinubu of the APC with 151,459 votes and Obi of the LP with 2,406 votes. Kwankwaso of the NNPP who scored 18,270 votes. Yobe is the home state of Senate President, Ahmad Lawan of the APC.
